Scope

This Code applies to all employees, consultants, and anyone representing Glesys.

Our Core Values: The foundation of who we are

Values are more than words on a page – they’re a living part of our organization’s identity. At Glesys, we’re committed to upholding and integrating these values into our actions. This means knowing them by heart and understanding how to put them into practice, both now and in the future.

Quality

We take pride in delivering the best in all aspects of our business. This means:

  • Striving for excellence by continuously improving our processes and services.
  • Embracing change as we navigate the fast-paced technological landscape.
  • Prioritizing our clients’ needs to help them prepare for future challenges

Honesty

Honesty is the foundation of our business philosophy. We practice it by:

  • Communicating openly and ensuring expectations are clear.
  • Delivering on commitments and always looking for the best solutions.
  • Building trust through transparency and integrity with customers and colleagues

Respect

Respect is about how we interact with the world and each other. It means

  • Valuing diverse perspectives and acknowledging every contribution.
  • Treating people with empathy and understanding, focusing on strengths.
  • Committing to environmental responsibility by supporting initiatives that combat climate change

Professional and personal conduct: How we communicate and engage

Communication: Making every word count

Effective communication is a big part of our daily work and essential to maintaining a professional environment. Since most of our communication is text-based, emotions and body language are absent, which makes it even more important to ensure clarity and positivity:

  • Be welcoming, be kind, be clear – in that order.
  • Assume good intentions when interpreting messages.
  • Own the issue until someone else formally takes responsibility.
  • Switch to voice or video if text-based discussions become heated.
  • Don’t dig where you stand. Don’t try to score points. Focus on resolving the issue constructively.

Engagement: Stepping up

Every employee plays a role in shaping our workplace. We encourage you to:

  • Take initiative and contribute to positive change.
  • Support and challenge colleagues constructively.
  • Invest in your growth and participate in team development.

Competence: More than just doing the job

Competence isn’t just about completing tasks – it’s about excelling in them. We promote:

  • Responsibility for managing your own work and development.
  • Proactively seeking guidance and being open to learning.
  • Sharing knowledge and participating in continuous improvement.

Professionalism: Representing Glesys

As ambassadors of Glesys, professionalism is expected at all times. This includes:

  • Being prepared and using respectful language in all communications.
  • Focusing on your tasks and being receptive to feedback.
  • Representing the company positively in every interaction.

Ethical behavior and decision-making

Ethics goes beyond compliance; it’s about doing the right thing, always. This means:

  • Upholding our values in every decision and action.
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest and disclosing any situations that might pose a risk.
  • Aligning actions with our commitment to quality, honesty, and respect.

Team collaboration and leadership: Building a supportive culture

Whether you’re a leader, manager, or team member, we all have a role in fostering a collaborative environment. This means:

  • Encouraging openness and valuing feedback.
  • Leading by example and upholding the principles of this Code.
  • Working across teams and departments to achieve shared goals and success.

Environmental and social responsibility

We believe in making a positive impact on society and the environment. Each of us is responsible for:

  • Considering the environmental impact of our actions and reducing waste.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives that address climate change.
  • Engaging in socially responsible activities that benefit both our organization and the broader community.

Violations and accountability

We expect everyone to familiarize themselves with these principles and commit to living by them daily.

Failure to adhere to this Code may result in disciplinary action, ranging from a verbal or written warning to suspension or termination of employment in cases of severe misconduct. Repeated violations or breaches that significantly harm our company, employees, or reputation may result in immediate termination. Legal or financial consequences may also apply depending on the nature of the violation.

Let’s build a workplace we can all be proud of – one rooted in Quality, Honesty, and Respect.
